Goddy reach the finals of the Downham Market 6 aside tournament only
to lose to Kings Lynn 1-0 . Goddy cruised through there group games beating Huntingdon,Dowham Market, Tilney and Kings lynn
They then faced Heathersett in the semi final which ended 1-1 and went straight into penalties which we won 4-3 in but the
final game was too much for the ladies and we got beat 1-0 in the end after hitting crossbar and creating several
chances
There was only one negative thing to take out the day Becks Thoday stand
in goalkeeper for the day made a save in our semi final game and bent her wrist back which resulted in her breaking it and
is now out of football for 6 weeks
Everyone at the club hopes that she will make a full recovery and will
be back playing very soon
